Dynamic Heddle Weaving
For those who are fans of Facebook and are interested in the new Majacraft Dynamic Heddle Loom, you might be interested in checking out “Manic Dynamic Majacrafters“. This is a page set up by three of our weaving heroes, Donyale Grant, Esther Rodgers and Suzy Brown. It is dedicated to weaving on the Majacraft loom. People are posting their work, using it as a forum and taking part in the challenges offered to build a very cool community.
Here is a small selection of pieces being created:
As I have mentioned before, I feel very proud to have been able to have a little part in the amazing things that talented people from around the world are creating – so thank you all. I can’t wait to see what you do next!

Suzy has done an amazing job at pulling this group together. I hope to find some more time to contribute more in the future. It is a great space for people to share, ask and create.
I PURCHASED A MAJACRAFT BLENDING BOARD WHEN I WAS OVER IN CANADA RECENTLY FROM THE GARDEN WEAVING PLACE IN JORDON IN ONTARIO. I AM NOW HOME AND WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE ONE FOR MY DAUGHTER WHO OWNS TWO MAJACRAFT SPINNING WHEELS. WHO IN THE UK ARE YOUR SUPPLIERS OF THE BLENDING BOARD? SHEENA
your boards are excellent as well as your wheels
great boards
I live in Nelson NZ, can I buy your products locally. Is your dynamic heddle loom easier to use than a 8 shaft table loom?
Hi Susan, all of our local dealers are listed in the dealer area of our web site. If you get stuck, give us a call!
Without dropping into sales pitch speak, I would think that the DHL is easier to use than an 8 shaft table loom, plus you have the option to do really interesting things with the warp thanks to the reed segments, and it is very portable. However, I would think that as far as ‘pure’ weaving goes, the 8 shaft can do more.
