The Pioneer makeover
Two posts in one day!
Another of our projects is finally ready for us to show you. One of our primary objectives is to make craft tools that work great and look fantastic too and so based on this idea, we have given the Pioneer a makeover.
The base and pedals of the Pioneer are now in solid pine similar to the stem. It is a heavier wood than the original plywood so the overall look of the wheel is much more solid. We have also changed from the cream wash to a lovely honey coloured oil that accentuates the grain of the wood.
It comes with the new aerodynamic flyer and like our other wheels, all accessories will fit. Best of all, the price remains the same so getting started in spinning with a Majacraft wheel is as affordable as ever.

Nice! Very nice! (owner of pre-makeover Pioneer – which I still love v much).
Will you be releasing any news at all about the new wheel before the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival?
I’m one of the lucky people who will be able to go to the Festival, but I’m sure there are a lot of people who won’t be able to go.
Besides, we’re all on the edge of our seats waiting for it!
If nothing else, let us know where to look for you at the Festival!
Hi Johann,
There will be more news coming out before Maryland and I assure you that as soon as the Owen, Glynis and Lexi have their locations sorted, I will post them too. Our plan is to have the wheels shipped to all dealers who order them in time for the show so hopefully every Majacraft dealer should have one for you to see/try.
Ok, now I’m kicking myself for getting a pioneer a few weeks ago… :/ Oh well. It looks very nice!
