John Valleau is a Horticulturist and arrived in the fibre world through natural dyeing. This led to picking up knitting again, then drop spindling, wheel spinning and working extensively with acid dyes. Miss Rusty is a German Shepherd (mutt) cross that came to live with us about 9 years ago. She is our resident store dog and comes nearly everywhere with us. Rusty will probably bark once or twice when you come in the shop but she is a gentle and sweet old girl and excellent with children of all ages.
